OCI holds Innovation calls on the first Friday of each month.  This call is open to the public and will be a time to discuss innovations in the credentialing (W3C standard) space and innovative ideas on using credentials.  

If the topic is supported to explore further, OCI will create a series of focus calls for that purpose.  At the end of the Focus call series, a determination will be made whether to move the work into an official OCI team to develop open specifications on the topic.
